Many individuals today are looking for a low-cost yet effective portable home gym. In this case, Bullworker or one of the many Bullworker alternatives can meet your fitness needs.
Exactly What Are Bullworker Exercises?
The Bullworker has always used two types of exercise movements, isometric exercises and isotonic exercises. It's a well-known fact that isometrics can help you build incredible strength.
Isometrics unlike any other training principle develops your strength in your ligaments as well as in the muscle. This is very important since it is the actual ligament that determines how strong the muscles grow.
If your muscles are ever to become stronger than your ligaments you could easily suffer a muscle tear!
Lately there has been much discussion about "Bullworker elbow." In all the research that has been done we have not found anything to support this theory. We will discuss this in more detail in a later article. For now, let us continue our discussion of Bullworker exercises.
Benefits of Bullworker Exercises
Exercising with a Bullworker or a Bullworker alternative has many advantages here are are the top 4:
1. Requires Very Little Time -
Typically, most workouts can be completed in 5 to 7 minutes. You would think that a seven minute workout would not be enough to create any strength gains.
That is the magic of isometrics. Although isometrics has been scientifically proven to create dramatic strength gains it does have a weakness. (More about this later)
2. No Space Required -
Because of the size of the Bullworker and the Bullworker X5 (typically 34 to 35 inches long) you don't need a spare room or any extra space to exercise and. (Unlike a Bowflex or Total Gym.)
3. Fast Results -
Bullworker exercises when done properly can result in very quick strength gains and muscle size. Unlike freehand isometrics, the addition of progressive resistance allows you to continue to make gains as your strength grows.
4. Isometrics and Isotonic -

These are just some of the exercises that can be performed with Bullworker. While most individuals have come to believe that the Bullworker is only good for upper body exercises it's very effective for building strength in your legs and calves.
Some of the Bullworker exercises for the legs are excellent for women.
One of the exercises is very similar to the old "Thigh Master." Remember that thing? It was popularized by Suzanne Somers and sold millions if not billions by now.
The great thing about the Bullworker is that whether you were a man or woman, young or old anyone can use it to tone and shape their body.
